Safeguarding
Giwyn maintains a zero-tolerance policy against fraud, corruption, bribery, terrorism financing, child abuse, sexual abuse, modern slavery, and human rights violations.

We understand that abuse often stems from power imbalances, which can occur anywhere, even within our own teams. We're also mindful of the power dynamics in our relationships with service users, grantee partners, and the communities they serve.

Our commitment to safeguarding includes:
-
Training: We provide training to our staff and grantee partners, enabling them to create or revise their safeguarding policies.
-
Policy Review: We review our grantee partners' policies to ensure alignment with Giwyn grant requirements and their specific organizational context.

This approach reinforces our dedication to preventing abuse and promoting a safe environment for everyone we work with.
